Microsoft wants to invest in Foursquare
As reported by Bloomberg, Microsoft is in talks with representatives of Foursquare about possible cooperation. According to their statements, these discussions are at an advanced stage, but Foursquare is reportedly considering other potential investors, including the most famous name financial houses American Express. Since the rise in popularity of Facebook and its IPO Foursquare lost business and financial momentum, a new source of capital would certainly welcome them. There is speculation that Microsoft is just interested in investing in this network location, and for the purchase of certain shares in the company. Spokesmen for these companies did not want to confirm these allegations.
